SurrogacyUK’s Annual Conference 2024 will take place on Saturday 20th April 2024 in Leicestershire, and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!
Attendance is open to both SurrogacyUK members and non-members
With the help of our members SurrogacyUK runs events across the UK and online every week, but the Annual Conference is undoubtedly a highlight in our calendar of events.
Whether you’re right at the beginning of your surrogacy journey or you’re well established in the SurrogacyUK community, the Annual Conference is jam-packed with information and opportunities to learn and network.
For non-members it’s a great opportunity to find out all about altruistic surrogacy in the UK, and to dive into the SurrogacyUK community to see if it might be the right place for you to begin your surrogacy journey.
Our 2023 Conference was attended by over 600 delegates – attendees who participated in the post-conference evaluation loved that the variety of topics was even wider than before, and they particularly valued the experience and expertise offered with SurrogacyUK presenters complemented by external speakers.
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to provide feedback – it’s great that we can identify the themes that matter to attendees and we’re really grateful to give consideration to individual suggestions. Informed by attendee feedback, our Events Team are hard at work planning to make the 2024 Conference bigger and better than ever!
We’re offering attendees the opportunity to attend more sessions during the course of the day, and we’ll be providing more details in advance to better allow attendees to plan to get the most from the day.
For the first time we will have a dedicated networking space available throughout the Conference – attendees can use this space to network with peers or to relax and recharge between workshops and sessions.
Navigating the Conference will also be easy due to our two themed stages which will focus on the wealth of experience SurrogacyUK has to offer and the complementary professional expertise of carefully selected speakers from outside our community.
Our Main Stage will play host to a full agenda of external speakers including professionals in assisted conception and surrogacy law.
Our Experience Stage will draw on the considerable knowledge and experience available within our community, featuring themed panels with a wide variety of participants with lived experience of surrogacy from across SurrogacyUK.
Meanwhile Surrogates and Known Egg Donors will find a full programme of tailored content in our dedicated Surrogate & KED Space.
In addition to the full programme of workshops and sessions, attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with guest exhibitors in our Expo area which will be open for the duration of the Conference. Our popular childcare provision will also return and will be available to anyone attending with children.
For many, the evening function following the Annual Conference is a particular highlight – after a full Conference programme it’s a great chance to relax and spend time with others in the SurrogacyUK community. This year we will have entertainment across both function suites offering plenty of opportunities for fun for all the family – look out for further announcements coming soon!
Your conference tickets will allow you to access discounted hotel accommodation, with many attendees making a full weekend of it by arriving on Friday night.
In addition to exploiting our resources in terms of staff and volunteers and in spite of rising overheads, we are striving to deliver the best value conference possible by making investment in the areas that matter to our attendees. Significant consideration is given to balancing the investment in venue costs, speakers and conference materials against ticket pricing. Our hope is to deliver a Conference that exceeds expectations at a price that’s affordable for as many attendees as possible.
Attendance is open to anyone with an interest in surrogacy, with discounted Early Bird tickets available to those who commit to attend early on and discounted tickets available to SurrogacyUK members as a further benefit of membership.
